  • Lauren Clark

    BSc PHYT

    PHYSIOTHERAPIST

    Lauren graduated from the University of Essex in 2014 with a BSc (Hons) degree in Physiotherapy. Since qualifying she spent time at a Suffolk Hospital doing junior rotations. Following this she worked within the Adults with Learning Disability services in North & Mid Essex; specialising in hydrotherapy and postural management.

    Although she enjoyed working with adults, her passion has been always been in paediatrics and she seeks to constantly develop her skills to be able to provide children and their families with personalised interventions.

  • Kate McDermott

    MSc PHYT

    PHYSIOTHERAPIST

    Kate’s passion for pursuing a career in paediatrics began shortly after graduating from a BSc (Hons) Sports Science degree in 2012. She subsequently completed an MSc Physiotherapy degree in 2016 allowing her to undertake clinical rotations at Ipswich NHS Hospital. Whilst progressing through senior roles in the NHS, Kate developed a new hydrotherapy pathway for paediatric patients as well as playing a crucial role in Cystic Fibrosis clinics. Kate is proud to remain up to date with contemporary research and has consolidated her clinical skills with the foundation level APCP course.

    Kate strives to find unique ways of challenging children to reach their full potential and enjoys being part of their journey to exceed their goals. Kate enjoys horse riding, baking and taking her Dalmatian puppy, Pepper, for long country walks.

  • Ewan Sears

    BSc PHYT

    PHYSIOTHERAPIST

    Ewan completed his BSc in Physiotherapy at the University of Hertfordshire whilst working part-time at a local children’s play scheme charity where he’d helped out for over a decade. This is where he gained his passion for working with children and he’s excited to keep this going at Kids’ Therapy Works, to help children reach their goals. He also loves playing and watching sports in his spare time.

  • Lara Foster

    MSc PHYT

    PHYSIOTHERAPIST

    Lara gained a wealth of knowledge whilst completing her postgraduate degree in Physiotherapy at Essex University. Prior to this, she studied BSc (Hons) Sports Rehabilitation and gained experience working in a private musculoskeletal clinic in London.

    She discovered her passion for paediatric physiotherapy whilst volunteering at REACH (a local RDA and hippotherapy centre). Since then she has taken every opportunity to develop her skills and nothing brings her more joy then helping children to achieve their goals. She is passionate about improving the lives of young people and has a genuine empathy and ability to connect with children which fosters trust and engagement.

    In her spare time she enjoys yoga, running and riding her horse.

  • Kerri Stowe

    BSc (Hons) OT

    OCCUPATIONAL THERAPIST

    Kerri graduated from the University of Essex in 2022 with a 1st Class BSc (Hons) degree in Occupational Therapy. Prior to completing her degree Kerri worked in education and private care as a support worker for children with complex needs. She also spent some time working in an Essex hospital as a therapy assistant.

    Throughout her degree Kerri spent time working with children both in person and remotely, which confirmed her passion for working in paediatrics. Kerri prides herself on promoting inclusivity and is dedicated to developing her knowledge further to ensure the children at Kids Therapy Works are able to access activities of daily living.

    In her spare time Kerri enjoys baking, crafting and days out with her family.

  • Daisy Turner

    MSc Applied Exercise & Health Science

    PHYSIOTHERAPY ASSISTANT

    Daisy is studying to be a Physio through the Degree Apprenticeship Physiotherapy course and she will graduate in 2024 with a BSc in Physiotherapy.

    Daisy studied Sport & Exercise Science at Canterbury Christ Church University before going on to study Applied Exercise & Health Science at Masters level.

    Daisy has worked with children in various roles and enjoys seeing them develop whilst having fun and continuing to progress.

    Danielle Walker

    PRACTICE MANAGER/DIRECTOR

    Danielle started studying for her accounting qualifications in September 2008, proceeding to chartered accountancy in 2011. With an extensive background in finance, management reporting, budgeting and forecasting she assists our MD as a key member of the management team.

    As well as ensuring the smooth running of our practice, Danielle is the first point of contact for all of our families, providing them with any guidance and assistance that they need.

  • Peter Greatorex

    MANAGING DIRECTOR

    As the father of a son who has attended Kids’ Therapy Works for 11 years, Peter has a long-term understanding of the challenges faced by children and their families. In December 2022, Peter became the majority shareholder in Kids’ Therapy Works. His vision is that every child should benefit from early intervention, excellent holistic therapy, advice and support.

    Peter graduated from the University of Newcastle upon Tyne in 1989, worked in London design agencies through the 90s and in 2000 founded Page Nine, a branding design agency based in Colchester with clients across Europe and the USA. He now works full time at KTW, and is determined to create an outstanding, UK-wide holistic therapy service for all children.
